Yes. Short, unpolished, rushed, abrupt. It seems it was supposed to be more of everything, and I don't believe that after polished and emotional storytelling in the first two episodes suddenly Deck 9 fired all the talented devs and gave us this.
1) Chloe should have gone to school for a few days before getting kicked out that seemed too rushed to me and any Principal that did what Wells did I think would be fired shortly after for the way he treated Chloe. She should have had to do far more then just skip school to get kicked out like that, I used to skip school regularly and NEVER got kicked out in fact I graduated highschool with honors.
2) They should have developed the relationship between Chloe and Rachel much slower and also make that more realistic, they should have had Rachel interact with Joyce and David and much more interaction of Chloe with Rachel's parents. It was all way too rushed.
By doing just those two things there would have been way more "feels" to the game and I am sure if I thought about it long enough there are a few more things they could have added, like a longer play scene, more D&D, more with Samantha and Nathan...lots of stuff could have been done better with five eps.
- Because they really wanted to
- Because chin, chin ( money )
- To gain some respect and popularity

Yeah maybe I should have started my post with "Honestly I think they screwed it up from the get go...." because I really did enjoy BtS as my playtime/hours spent playing the game idicates...I just think if they would have done things slower, like developing the relationship between Chloe and Rachel slower, the game could have been much better. This indicates to me that there really should have been 5 episodes instead of just 3. And who wouldn't want more?
No, it wouldn't have. It would actually drag the game out.
People who bash Ep3 do not want to admit that they didn;t get the story they wanted. It wasn;t rushed storywise. D9 just told the story they wanted to tell, and actually foreshadowed it throughout.
However, this game should have NEVER been episodic in the first place. Ep3 does much better in the full game than stand alone.
So, all in all, I have to agree with texasgoldrush above, who wrote: "People who bash Ep3 do not want to admit that they didn;t get the story they wanted. It wasn;t rushed storywise. D9 just told the story they wanted to tell, and actually foreshadowed it throughout." Whereas there are some things to critize in Ep3, it just was nowhere as bad as some people say.
My only gripe is that it should have been longer, 5 episodes. 3 episodes was definitely not enough for me.
I second this. For me Chloe is the favorite character of the whole franchise. And this fact alone made more time spent with her great, I can't get enough of it. That is the reason I hope for more of her in the future.
