I was about to look at the snowglobe and thought "I wonder if timetraveling Max has been here?" Not even being serious I looked at the bottom right of the fireplace and then the butterfly is there for a second and gone!

Was that to show that before the bonus episode started that parallel unvierse Max had come back from a another reality to rip up the photo and let William drive to Joyce? I think so.
