When should I play "Farewell" Episode?
Hi, I just bought the game plus the Farewell Bonus Episode.

Am I able to choose when I want to play the bonus episode?
Or is there a recommendation for when it's best to play it - meaning before or after the actual game "Before the Storm"?

I would play them in release- order. I dont see a point in playing Farewell first because you dont feel attached to Max and Chloe. Play LiS - then BtS - then Farewell

You don't feel attached to them if you play lis also. That's why we have 52% of Einstein's who choose to sacrifice Chloe

You don't need to care if you have to play it before BTS or after. It's 'bonus' episode.
That means if you don't know the story, nothing will happen if you play it.

The only logical and comprehensible order is LiS -> BtS -> Farewell. That's how game were released and that how it will make most sense.

Otherwise enjoy eating soup with a fork.

Just to change the question, is this DLC worth it If you have played both LiS and BtS. Yes I loved them both but only purchased standard BtS and am only interested in the bonus episode. Should I pay almost the price of standard BtS for the extra DLC episode or just watch a youtube play for free?

I'd definitely play the DLC episode - I just binged the entire BTS game and the bonus in 2 days, I - a 16yr old Guy actually almost cried during my playthrough
