Took me like 2h30 - 3h, depends how you play this game

I got through it in about 4 hours, if I'd spent more time puttering about (having every conversation, poking and proding every artifact, drawing on every surface) I could have taken up to 6. It would be an effort to go beyond, that, though. For me. Your milage may vary.

It took me about 4 hours, but I took my time and explored everything average playthrough is like 2 1/2 hours maybe 3?

Took me only 2 hours and 10 minutes. I found the key and got a lot of things right the first try.

Are you sure "thanks" is the right word? None of us gave the same answer. ^_^

I am on the slow side too with this game, so I will have about 3-4h playtime then ;)

It looked to me as the shortest episode of the batch, surely shorter than the second. It took me something less than 4 hours, and I am a very slow player when it's LiS.

Maybe I have to open another thread, but is it worth to be played compared to the first two? Still anxious to play.

If you're anxious to play, do it, but unplug your computer when the credits roll :P

Steam is telling me I have 15 hours logged in the game total. That means I've spent roughly 3-4 hours playing episode 3.

Man...

That, by the way, is a single play through. I've not gone back into the game since completing it.

I hadn't expected it to be that much. I, by the way, talk to everyone and read every little thing. I also listen to all the songs.

My usual gaming habits tend to be extremely fast-paced/intense games, so games like Life is Strange and Dear Esther I play when I'm in a more contemplative mood. I'm guessing quite a few of my logged hours come down to me just leaving the game running and having some relaxing music playing in the background while I do something else.

I'd say it's worth playing. It's not the same as Life is Strange - the tone is very different - but I think it's still a good experience, and interesting. Episode 3 has proven itself to be quite divisive so far, and I understand why, but I think it's deliberately left itself open for a second game.

As charly4711 says, if you haven't played LiS itself yet, you MUST skip the credits. I cannot stress this enough. If you have, well, brace yourself.

Thinking about it, if someone hasn’t played the first game that ending scene won’t make a particular impact. It shocked the players of LiS1 because they know what is happening, for all the others it will probably just be a giant “what was that?”.

You're right, but should they choose to play LiS afterwards then it pretty much spoils the ending - there's forshadowing and then there's making it just a little too explicit. I think it would be too easy to guess for a new player well before you're supposed to guess.
