Is this as good as LiS Season 1?

LiS S1 was really good up until the last episode.
How long are the episodes? As long as LiS S1 or shorter?

In my experience it's a different experience than LiS S1 but not worse. The episodes have been longer for me, 2-3 hours per. I have enjoyed BtS almost as much as S1

Maybe not as deep since the original season involved time travel and all but still a really enjoyable story ... and for me the characters are really likeable.
Rachel has become one of my alltime favourite characters despite us only having enjoyed her for two 3 hour episodes.

Definitely worth buying if you want a different spin on the LIS universe while still having the same vibe.

Actually, I remember more than a few people confessing that they never liked Chloe in LiS, but the character has grown on them after playing BTS. So I suppose it should be a subjective thing, mostly.

It's different. The story isn't as heavy (so far) and it's a bit different with no rewind or other "big" things going on.

But it is just as good as the first game in telling the story it wants to tell, fun episodes, and most importantly a great soul with perfect selection of music yet again.

To me, to be honest, it's pretty boring and not as good as LiS. Feels more like a DLC to know Chloe rather than an actual game. If you want to try, buy it when it's very cheap, it's not worth what it costs.

I could write a lot about this wonderful game. To compare LiS isn't possible, the one can not exist without the other. Read my review, I think it can help a bit. In my (new) top 3 games LiS: Before the Storm is on the run to overtake #1 from Life is Strange, rank 1 now. After these two games nothing comes for a long time...

Yes it is.
But its a different game experience too.
So if you play, it behaves like the main game. The difference is less heartbraking emo-stuff,
But much more humour in the game, as if more "ahhw" moments, instead of "omfg"-ones.

Chloe acts more awkward and i lil bit clumsy in this game, but also tough.
That makes BtS very enjoyable and leads to a lot of funny moments

I apreaciate it a lot.

i genuinely love this game, this game gave me a reason to love chloe, that whole scene where (not spoiler) shes sitting with Rachel and in her head she's thinking whether she should say something or not, or when she's standing next to her and wonder if she's smelling her,its these little socially awkward things that i relate to so well, and it makes me care about her cause i do the same stuff she does

I thought Deck Nine got the "mood" of the game just right, it feels like you are back in Arcadia Bay and Chloe Price and Rachel Amber characters are both absolutely superbly done. Some of the other VO is not up to par with LiS, like Samuel, but still good enough to ignore it for the most part.

LIS is the best gamer ever, and BTS is a good game too, but it isnt as good as LIS. If you ask me to buy BTS, I´ll say yes, its a good game. ;)
