Also, as I pointed out in another thread, the homeless lady said her family and maybe her real mother in particular (that's what I think) is linked to the events in the original game, the supernatural part of them I mean. Her mother's got a butterfly tattoo which makes me think she's connected. We saw butterflies in LiS.
Although their colour had always been blue, not yellow. Maybe her tattoo means she's in prostitution and I'm wrong
Max is the only one who has. The effects appearing after Rachel started the wildfire, is only to underline her desperation.
When Max is making breakfast with Joyce, she called her grounded though.
I'd rather consider Max as beeing soil, even she caused the storm.
She is the most reasonable of those three.
And according to her zodiac sign her element is earth.
So is water for Chloe and fire for Rachel
Jep. Wishful thinking.
It's statet by all sides, that is her. But people who aren't going to accept this always will look for alternatives.
But these won't affect the games released.
So it remains wishful thinking ;-)
There was a lot of talk about this when the first episode came out, but I just don't see it now. I think the fire started because the tree was very old and nothing more. The weird wisps that happen when the tree burns can also be seen in otrher parts of game 1 and other episodes...I think this is just a stylistic/artist choice to show wisps of wind blowing.
I would think if there was some kinda of supernatural aspect to Rachel, they would have shown more during episode two. I mean there are only 3 episodes, so there really is little time to show much of this is episode 3 considering all, the loose ends that need to be tied up and explained.
They're unsettling, but they're certainly not concrete in any way.
We may get a few more hints at magical elements in the finale, but--again--I would expect that they, too, could be be written off as nothing.
The devs once sayd the only character having supernatural powers is max.
They considered more, but dropped it, becausecit would be ridiculous haven so many people like that.
So the only power Rachel might have is in fact a a skill.
She has the power of seduction, for sure.
She's got a great perception, proven in the train.
She is very intelligent, a great actor and beautiful.
And she acts unscrupulously
Those skills combined, release a great power. But nothing supernatural
Once we had to drop all of our equipment and run to a rockslide area just to escape the flames, and that fire was nearly completely out and then the wind came up and it spread so fast it was unbelievable. It was down the hill about 400 or even 500 yards and I turned to my brother and yelled at him to bring the hose nozzle down to where I was and by the time I turned back around to look at the fire it was even with me and even passing me...
