I don't think people hate it at all. I'm a straight male who loves the LIS and BTS and went with Chloe and Rachel kissing. But in the first game I didn't with Max and Chloe.

I think the thing is, in LIS Max never truly seems interested in Warren. He has a crush on her, yes, but she is always kinda "meh" about a date with him, even if you take that path.

With Max and Chloe, it seemed more one sided with Chloe egging her on for the kiss on a dare and Max, again, never seemed that into is.....so for me....it didn't seem like Max really wanted that path either (other than as an experimental one)

In BTS, things are obviously different. Chloe very obviously has interest in Rachel romantically, and either Rachel feels the same way back, or is a very good actress and is using Chloe (which we don't know yet).

As for Elliot, it's very much like Warren; Max never seemed interested in Warren, but Chloe completely doesn't seem interested in Elliot.

For me the bottom line is this: I'm playing as these characters so why would I want Chloe to be with Elliot when she obviously has little interest in him and a ton of interest in Rachel? I'd want to do what make me feel the happiest (since I AM Chloe in the game). which would be being with Rachel.

There is no hate for Warren or Elliot (speaking for myself), but neither relationship makes sense for me as the main character in each game. I see Max with someone else (who knows who) and I see Chloe with Rachel at least in this period of their lives.

I don't think they hate it I just think a lot of dudes play this game and are into the girl on girl thing lol also its not real its teenagers they'll get married and stuff later in life.

I'm really not into girl on girl action but Chloe and Max or, for now more, Chloe and Rachel makes a good couple for us just because we've been through their worries and depressing stuff, seen them happy together during our LIS experience so we just easily imagine them being a couple or something.

They are perfect friends already, but Chloe did kissed Rachel because what? Feelings? I've already been through times when you are so lonely that anyone who supports you enough for you to get a little better automatically gets your simpathy. That's definitely a mistake.

I'd rather disrespect it than like it even while i understand your position and thought about it a lot in the past.
There is a strange point in our community - sexists, and i personally can't say if i'm related to them or not but i can say that distastefulness lies inside us and we're not able to do something with it.

But yeah thah story isn't really concentrated on their love(?) but on their relations as friends so it gets okay to us because we like them being bff's.

Eliot is actually a Max mirror. His license plate is a reference to "Catcher in the Rye", the little doodle on his whiteboard is similar to Max's (in style and humour) and on the note that you can find in Chloe's room he wrote "Only you can get me to loosen up like that.", which is similar to Max's "Only Chloe can get me to dance like this.".
I can see where people who favor Eliot over Rachel are coming from. Just plainly judged by personality and not gender or looks, I liked him better as well. His crush on Chloe is just adorable and the poems are really amazing. I think it could be interesting if they gave players, who want Chloe to give Eliot a chance, an option for doing so next episode.
As much as I like Rachel (because, you know, she IS pretty cool... :D), I'd try it.

There is no way they are going to have a relationship. He is already so friendzoned. No way out of this.
Have a look on how Chloe thinks about his poems. She feels flattered, but thats all.
And when Eliot hugs her on the lot, her face is like... WTF?

Chloe told max about having a boy toy phase when Rachel appeared.
I guess Eliot was her toy to not to be alone. Having someone around her, and Maybe having sex too, from time to time.

I would say that is pretty obvious, however when I play BtS I always try to ignore him as much as I can, it is pretty obvious to me that Chloe is not into boys so I always play the game like she would play it herself...

I am guessing though that I might be missing some of the achievements by playing it like I do so I might have to some day give him that hug....I guess.

I too thought Max isn't really interested in Warren, until I allowed her to leave "Cuprum Tellurium" memo on his door. That was damn sweet. Chloe, on the other hand, obviously is into Rachel.
