All we really know about Rahel's parents from season 1 is that they were "in denial" about Rachel's disspaearance. Chloe does not seem to hold any animus against them, so it's hard to imagine her finding out about Rachel being abused in BTS. (Unless it gets retconned, of course.)
Thing is Rachel wanted to believe her dad was flawless and couldn't anymore since she saw the proof. If her dad was abusive, him also being unfaithful would just be another flaw
I didn't think of that!
I meant what kind of punishing? grounding them and smacking them around are 2 different things
I was gonna say the way she carried the photo and how she talked about how much she loved him kinda goes against abuse based on how strongly she reacted when seeing him with the woman under the tree. But this is an exellent point about the makeup and something to surely consider..
It does seem like a very specific event to put in the game.
She could be in some sort of denial, hoping and wishing her father is a decent guy or maybe he was then just turned into a different person.
We know that she works in modelling business, so she hasexperience the work of visagists first hand. To me it is not ordinary if she therefore hand learned some tricks. Especially if she was a child when she started, people would have been happy to teach her, if she asked.
