Xbox 360 controller not working, Big Picture offers no fix
Anyone knows another fix? My Xbox 360 Controller (official) does not work ingame and while that was the case for One Piece Unlimited World Red and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm as well, this time when I go into Big Picture mode and go into the controller options, it doesn't show support for "Xbox Controllers". It only says that I can select vibration, nothing more.

You shouldn't need to do anything special to get the 360 controller to work. I've never used big picture and I've never had any issues with my 360 controller working with any game on Steam. I would suggest trying it without big picture to see if that's causing problems.

I tried that first, but I'm only having these issues with the latest games (first occured on the Storm series and One Piece, no idea why that happens) and I managed to fix it by configuring the controller in big picture mode (you don't need to use it all the time, just for that). When I first started Life is Strange: BtS I had Playstation Buttons but the mapping was all messed up (had to confirm things with the B button and cancel with X) and my Right Stick wasn't working. I did what crippknottick told me and I'll test later if it helps.

In the main settings of Steam Big Picture (not in the game specific settings) tick the box for "Xbox Controller Support" in the Controller Settings. Then, unplug the controller (if it is wireless unplug the receiver) re-plug the controller and restart Steam.

Now, in the game specific settings select Controller Configuration, press the blue X button on the gamepad to import a config, and select the plain "Gamepad" config from the Templates. Be sure to to apply the config before leaving the Controller Config for the game.

Now your Xbox controller will work like it has Xpadder or Pinnacle profiler, but without the 3rd party software,

I can confirm that it fixed the problem, thank you :)
