Don't be so against the game according to 1st game. They can always improve on the 2nd game, based on the reviews.

Actually, i have no idea how they are going to impliment multiple endings since this is a prequel, so everything that happens in this game has to make sense with how the first game starts :/

How many ending do you want at the video game? 100? I think they make 5 games with 2 ending then 1 game with 10....

I just want my games to have the functionality advertised on the store page, nothing more. Two distinct endings is enough when your decisions actually have an impact. Instead I got Morpheus telling me: "You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes".

I doubt it. The prequel is not even developed by the same team and looks like a cash grab already (preorder to get an exclusive skin).
The game is going down the drain, I tell you.

Let's read the store description again.
Multiple. Endings. Depending. On. The. Choices. You. Make.
Sora Jun 13, 2017 @ 1:48am
yeah even if you get minimal choices and it's at the very end, it's still considered multiple endings if they provide.

Ikr, every round in CS:GO also has multiple endings depending on your choices. You seem so entitled to defend shady marketing techniques that it even becomes entertaining.
Sora Jun 13, 2017 @ 1:55am
Comparing it to a irrelevant genre to an attempt to make a point is a pretty bad way to do so, and I'm not 'defending' shady market techniques at all, you must learn that when developers say something about a game it can either get changed or just be used as false advertising, which in this case you can't really make comments on when the game hasn't even been released. So before you do have a small cry over a comment made and j8mp to the conclusion of false advertising, try waiting until the game is released so you can actually confirm that with proven facts.

"Multiple endings depending on the choices you make". Taken right from the original LiS store page. Shoo.
Sora Jun 13, 2017 @ 2:22am
Remember when Dead Island 2 was on the steam store and it was meant to release this year, it got removed, in other words there was a change, so if there aren't multiple endings then hey, they'll remove that part of the description from the store now won't they. Might as well stop attempting to defend your point when you are only making a fool of yourself.

- Multiple endings depending on the choices you make
there will be whole two endings
and will be given a choice at the end of the game, and thet choice alone will determine which ending you will get.

Different Game by different developer.
Plus they know what pissed off people with LiS.
I am pretty sure they make different endings of some sort. Not to much about Chloe tho.

First they can influence the world. And if i get this idea right, they could put some investment into "the world behind" to make the path clear for Life is Strange 2.
After all, they getting money of another companys product, so they need to fullfill many things here.

On the other hand...

Well the background of Chloe is unwritten. Did she got into drug abuse harder? Did ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things happen to her, die she go trough with a tried suicide? Did Chloe piss Rachel off maybe at one point? All this things are not explained in LiS but could be what you doing here.

Also dont forget about the World. They could try to put "influence" in the world that might be relevant for LiS 1 and 2. There are many loose ends that you could connect. In a creative way you can use this to make you feel you influence the world, even if that means not much.

Just like the old lady you warned from the Storm. You feel your influence, even if the big things will happen later anyway. Still you can make someone happy or stuff.

So at all guys, this is another game from another dev. Give it a chance.
I am curious, because i enjoyed LiS very much and this is a good way to shorten the wait for LiS 2. :)

I have just finished my second playthrough and have watched the video of the "third ending".

SPOILER:

---
---
---

They are all the same f-ing ending. And even that is being too generous, since the ending might as well been replaced with "If you Played LiS season 1, you know what happens. Why did you bother to choose anything?"

It's really fascinationg how little effort went into theses "endingds". As for all the minor choices, sure we se that they might have made a COSMETIC difference that lasted for a week and then they didn't matter?!

I have no problem with just a two button ending, but as long as they make the endings DIFFERENT!!! The two endings were too similar, great game but the ending let it down a little
