I get it, she's good, she fits the character well, but your reason not to buy the game is ridiculous. I'm sad to see that she won't be voicing Chloe, I'm not gonna lie, but the new actress is quite good too, at least in my opinion.

And, FYI, they did still hire Ashly Burch. She was hired on as a writer and consultant for Chloe's character.

Did you know Ashly before playing LIS?

Many people know her, and knew of her prior to Life is Strange. "Hey Ash Whatcha Playin'" was what really made her known to the gaming community. This was in the days of Gametrailers. Following that was Tiny Tina from the Borderlands series. I knew her personally from marketing during E3 booth circulation with my previous partner. She has a personality that is/was a "good fit" for the gaming industry. Furthermore, she has a very distinct voice; one of which people pretty much say, "oh, it's that Ashley chick."

It's a shame talent has to be punished by politics. That's my piece on the subject.

That's quite immature. The strong character presence from the voice team, are part of what made Lif is Strange what it is to the community. I'm sorry you personally fail to see the significance of who is a part of projects in this industry.

It's not though. As a union actor if you work during a strike you can be blacklisted from all future union projects once the strike ends.

"Millenialns" (you made me use that word, you are awful) do not entirely understand how that guild crap works. She CAN NOT BE LEGALLY HIRED, else SHE IS BREAKING A LAW and will be thrown out of the guild (industry). Now, she could quit the guild and be an independent player on the market, but I have heard it also has some "drawbacks" to it, which is pitiful.
All in all indsutry is in tatters.
