I get it, she's good, she fits the character well, but your reason not to buy the game is ridiculous. I'm sad to see that she won't be voicing Chloe, I'm not gonna lie, but the new actress is quite good too, at least in my opinion.

she was not hired because she cannot work due to strike.so she is doing what she feels is right and the company is doing what they must to stay alive.real good chance alot of these voice actors will never return this is what happens when strikes happen your taking a huge risk and theres ALWAYS casulties.the unions could care less about you.trust me people will fall.

Don't support a game because of a missing voice ....even though she was hired as a writer for the game and deserves our support?

Which also means don't support the new voice actress even though none of what happened was her fault?

I support her, the NEW voice actress as well as the team who made the game (hopefully it's a good game). I just want a few hours of fun for my money; that's what I support the most.

I can understand why some people are upset but I see things a little differently. First, She would sound "different" becasue chloe was younger. Two, normally when TV or films replace the original actor/actress the show flops, but in some rare cases the new actor/actress coming in does an even better job then the first one did. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm more about the characters and less about the people who voice them.

We have a younger Chloe, albiet not by miles, so obviously she's going to sound different and that's why a different voice actor may be the way to go. Yeah except the first game already had a 13 year old Chloe voiced by Burch.

That's only because she already knew how to do it right due to Tiny Tina. Either way using the excuse of a different voice is dumb since a voice doesn't change that much between 16 and 19. You've already hit puberty at that point.

Unfortuantely, not buying the game wont make them change the voice for the original one. :( And I just cannot pass a game like this, it's too good to be ignored. But eventually, if devs asked me if I was ok to wait on the actress and therefore delay the game a bit, I would have said yes. I would have perefered they wait a bit honestly. Hiring another actress asap was not cool and not really respectful. But I guess they also had deadline and had no choice. Life is complicated sometime. I just hope things is going to be sorted out for those voice actors so they can get what they deserve.

How do you know it will be good?

If it's true to the original, it'll be good. The story is amazing, the kind of game is amazing. LiS is my favorite game of all time. I'm a big fan of story rich choice matter game but LiS is the best of them all to me. I dont see how Before the storm cannot be as good. I know I'll like it. If I don't, I'll promise to come here and let you know how wrong I was. But taking a chance to pass on this game because of the voice.... again. i'm sorry for those voice actors. They do such an amazing job and are never as rewarded as real actors while some of them are much much better than real actors. But devs wont delay the game because of this nor redo the voices to please us... i'm sad of it... and I hope they wont do that same mistake again... i would have prefered to wait a lil longer so the real chloe could be there. Not necesseraly because the new chloe isn't good... just because I have respect for the first one and she deserved to be on this game.
