Game occasionally freezes.

Sometimes, the games visuals will just freeze. The game is still running and i can interact with it, but I can't see what I am doing.

I had this same issue with Hiragana Battle too. It's not a major issue, I just need to save more, but it does get annoying. In HB, I had to fight the alternate world characters near the end of the game 5 times before I made it though the first of the final vocabulary lessons and was able to save.

Anyone know why this happens? The game runs fine up until that point and nothing else on my computer is affected.

I am also having this problem, and it has happened to me twice. Really infuriating, because even if I know it's coming I can't save without seeing the visuals for the game. URRGHHH

If you aren't in battle and can theoretically save you can save if you remember the layout. esc, arrow down until you can't go further (you have exist game selected) one arrow up and ENTER. you're in the save menu now. then jus keep hitting enter until you hear the audio cue of save game. I know it is frustrating. And if you are in battle it is even more so to get a freezing screen. But maybe that trick helps to deal with it. I wish they'd fix their game :(

I am having the same issues. I save before I talk to anyone or do any battle because this has happened to me many times. Specifically, I am stuck on the coffee girl telling me about the various forms of drink. I cannot seem to get through this task without the game freezing.

The game is completely unplayable for me now. I can not get through Disuke's lessons because the graphics pause while the game is still running. I can continue with the lesson using the memory of the different menu options but I do not actually see the screen change from when it is frozen. I was super hyped about this game and how well it taught me hiragana and most of katakana, but now I am stuck. Pretty frustrating.
