Can you hit it more than 270 yards in TGC2?

Want to buy the game, but was super frustrated with the first one with how far you can drive the ball. I mean, i can hit it farther in real life, and that is sad. Is that a part of career mode? Can you build up attributes? Thanks for any insight.

Yes you can hit it farther than 270 yards, there are 3 levels of skill, each level hits the ball a little longer than the last one but it is also harder to hit it strait. There are no attributes, most likely to keep players fairly even in each skill level.

I regularly drive it 300 yards on Tour.

I use Tour (Professional) clubs. My average drive is 306.
