Can solo players play against the Ai?

I just want a golf game where I can add some Ai players and see them take their turns, play tournaments etc. I understand there is a career mode but does that actually mean seeing an ai opponent swing their golf club? It would be nice if we could play against the ai outside of the career mode as well.

Good question. My initial thought is that the Ghost Ball system has returned. If your new to the golf club, how they would do it is player ghost balls would appear on the courses you played on instead of actually physically seeing other golfers with you unless you were in a multiplayer round. Now with career mode, I'm guessing one of the livestreams they are having before release will focus more on that, and perhaps they will shed some light on this. There is currently still a NDA for all the closed beta testers so I dunno if you will get a straight answer to this before any livestreams cover the career.

ya and your friends one of the big ones is can you see your friend play and hit the ball and back and forth while playing together...

You could do that with The Golf Club 1, but you had to enable "turn order" on once everyone was connected to the same course at the Tee Off. I'm PREYING!! they actually added an actual Lobby system to easily connect to friends and invite friends without having to go thru so much trouble like TGC1. It would loose sync with other players quite consistantly.

yes this is why i thought it still did not work my friend and i just played a game a week or so ago and ya first we did see use hit one at a time but later ..like you said lost sync so we thought it still did not work.

yes this is why i thought it still did not work my friend and i just played a game a week or so ago and ya first we did see use hit one at a time but later ..like you said lost sync so we thought it still did not work.

There was always a lot of sync issues with the turn order which I think probably comes down to that the turn order was maybe added into the game as an after-thought, and the ghost balls was where they wanted to go with it. The Sync issue is a lot better, but the Handicap system they put in place messes things up a lot on the turn order option.

Bot AI was nice to have if play singleplayer mode.
