Message for developers and people who cares

Hello, dear developers and the whole community. I must say right away that I use an online translator to better express my thoughts, because I still have an insufficient level of English.

My name is Dmitry, I'm from Russia. I live in the southern part, not far from Rostov, where refugees from Ukraine were brought. Recently, our airport was closed because it became dangerous to fly. And if they are flying now, then in a big arc, away from Ukraine. Afraid.

First of all, I want to express my sympathy to those who succumbed to the provocations of the media and joined those who act against the ordinary peaceful Russian people. What is happening now is not so much a physical war as an informational one. Many people around the world are afraid, nervous and stressed, including us.

I want to say that by your actions to restrict the Russian people, you are like Hitler, who did not like Jews and destroyed them. Or as it was in the history of African Americans. Yes, no one is killing Russians now, but everything can come to this. You condemn the war, but you direct your actions against people like yourself.

Neither I nor anyone else from the peaceful Russian people wants war. Moreover, he does not want the state to forcibly send us to war and force us to take up arms on pain of death for us or our families. No one wants it, unless it's just some crazy people.

Remember that any media is lying and will always lie in order to achieve some goals. No media will tell the absolute truth, and if it does, it will drown in this sea of absolute lies. I urge everyone to think critically and not to believe any words or videos that you have seen. Think with your head why all this is being done. I don't want people to be pitted against other people. No one will go to war if people don't hate each other. And that's what they want. Please be reasonable, residents of any country.

As for me, I hope I will be able to leave here. Every day I wake up with the thought "Hooray, I managed to wake up and live another day, and no one attacked us." I want me and other civilians to be treated the same as any civilians on earth. After all, we didn't choose it, how we didn't choose where to be born. There are many good, kind and intelligent people among us, as well as among people of other nations and races. I call for peace and support for each other, not for separation.

National discrimination is just awful and there is no place for it in modern cilivized world.
Our civilians are simple humans, just like others, and not guilty due to their birth.
What developer is doing is just childish and makes no sense.

That said, our decision has nothing to do with Xenophobia or national discrimination. We are taking a stand against the disgusting and horrific actions of your dictator leader, Vladimir Putin. We have no intention of doing any business with a country that is led by him and his cronies. As a citizen of Russia, you have a duty to take action to stop the war in Ukraine, stop Putin and prevent unnecessary wars like this from happening.

Our inaction would be akin to accepting the needless suffering of Ukrainian people. The least we can do is halt the sales of our games and to spread this message: STOP THE WAR.

Okay, so because you don't like suffers, you going to suffers many other people? You and different developers who decided "restrict" games from russians people just because our president decided attack for some unknown to you reasons. It's so logic, sir.
I don't think Putin will login in steam, visit your game page and wonder "why game cost so much" and cancel war?
I know my message not change anything, but at least i tried.
I think just people not must suffer and if you against suffers, you and different developers needs don't do these histeria actions. There not only russians people involved. Developers get less money too. All will lose it. So where logic?
I am as person who supported many developers almost 10 years, i think it's not fair and ugly - just like poop on me after i tried to support as many developers i can. If you see my steam account, there a lot products. And i dissapointed game companies who acted like this. And if steam will be blocked in future, it's cross on my 10-years-support and other people. So i don't think answering with "revenge" for some other people involved in war - it's both sides lose.
