Control for keyboard kind of suck...
The game seems fun and all but I just can't bear the control. For these RPG games, I'm used to use space bar instead of enter. This makes it hard to do almost anything, during the battle, when in shop, talking to someone...
Is there any way to add space bar as command key as same as enter key please?

If you are playing the version optimized for keyboard controls (the first option when the game loads), this image should help you. I personally prefer the arrow keys and z, x, c, method of control.

If you choose the second option when the game loads, then the default RPG maker keyboard controls are in use, including spacebar for interact/select. If you have already started a game with the first load option, you'll have to copy your save file to a different directory to play the other load option. This is all described here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/553760/announcements/detail/2374931744429536687

Steam Controller has been the best $20 I have spent for gaming in a long long time.

F1 can rebind keys

That is true for the PC Gamepad optimization version. The script I have installed overrides the F1 functionality for the Keyboard/Steam Controller version.

I personally prefer the "confirm" key set to "Z" and the "cancel" key set to "X" since most RPGMaker titles are set that way and as such I would love it if someone could provide a fix for setting said keys like that for Einlanzer for people like me who are used to such setups. :higu_mion:

Controls are bad. Both of them. I always play rpg-maker games with arrows + numblock enter for interact and delete or num0 for cancel.
Game goes back for that reason.

The controls for Einlanzer are pretty horrible imo.... especially when you use a setup that isn't QWERTY, like me, I'm using AZERTY, so my Z and W are switched around. You can see how that turns out horribly. Don't care horribly much anymore cause I've gottent used to it but yeah.

When booting up the game, run the "PC Gamepad" optimization version of the game. If you do, you not only have the standard RPG Maker VX Ace controls, but you can customize them fully with the f1 key.

Controls are fine to me, and AZERTY being a French specificity you can't blame such an indie title for not factoring it in.
One suggestion though: the ''return to title'' button should be easily available through ESC and also during fights.

I'm fine with them not factoring AZERTY specifically, but when the solution to the problem is universal (key rebinding) and solves other problems, it makes sense to factor it in...
And why would I expect to play with a gamepad optimized version when I'm using a keyboard? The option that fixes a common problem seems really out of reach oddly enough...
