The files are in InstallationDirectory\Configs\DataDecomposed\Equipment\Liveries if you'd like to take a look. You'll need to restart the game to see your changes though.
Except, these files say "R: G: B:" in them, and are clearly are not RGB values. How is this in anyway "easy"? This is hassle, and you have to close down the game each time just to see if your colours even look good together on a mech.
