Epic Store Exclusive?

Since Industries of Titan is now a timed Epic Store exclusive, is that going to happen to this game as well?

I really hope not... :(

Kinda worrying about that myself.
With Outer worlds and pheonix point being an epic games exclusive as well, my list of games to look forward to has been dwindling fast.

Yeah, my list of upcoming games at this point is basically Cyberpunk 2077 and End State.

Outer Worlds, Industries of Titan, Phoenix Point (I was a backer), and Detroit: Become Human are all dead to me know.

I really hope Phantom Brigade isn't, but since it's the same people...eh. Not looking good. And I was super hyped for this.

Thank you for responding, I really appreciate it. Before I used to buy a game and the only thing I worried about and had to check was if it had loot boxes or micro transactions and how predatory they were (like if it impacted the game design to try and part you from money). Now my most pressing concern is if it is going to be an Epic exclusive or not, and whether I can support the dev straight up or wait a year for a Steam or GOG version, as I will now never support Epic in any way shape or form. At least now I know I can purchase it here you have guaranteed yourself a sale, as I am looking forward to this one.

Looks like it will be a timed EGS exclusive for early access, but at least Steam will be getting the full release... that's not a problem for me, since I don't buy early access games anymore (been burned too many times).

Regardless, thank you C7 for posting this information, I can't wait to buy this game and play it on Steam (on release)... :)

As I mentioned at length here after Industries of Titan (same company) went Epic exclusive, I won't be buying games that do that.

Shame, this looked intriguing, and it's been on my radar for years. I already figured it would be Epic, since no one would give a straight answer about launching Day 1 on Steam.

Sad how many games that I've been eyeing for ages have decided to pull this. Hopefully End State doesn't do something similar. No indicators of that yet, at least.

ah this was on my wishlist, well, its removed now. theres far too many games to make me even give this a second thought after this stunt.

It is kind of alarming how many games are claiming steam support and building hype through steam, then jumping to epic. Another kickstarter just did that, Shenmue 3
