Edit! Normally, this discussion board is generally help for Payware content and Trainz itself. You can also ask at the Trainz forums https://forums.auran.com/
There is nothing wrong with the poster asking about installing content in Trainz. At the end of the day it is related to Trainz.
Hi Zeraora Cat Meow
Have you been able to install the content as you have not replied?
Unfortunately, you have not given very much information (as wolfpredator has already mentioned) on where you downloaded(?) the Polar Express from, but if you can shed some more light that would be great. Are you referring to 'addons' as dependencies or sessions on the download station/third party site? Or even the route itself?
Okay, I'm, just going to throw some ideas about regarding installing if you are still having problems.
If there are dependencies on the download station use the Content Manager utility on the Trainz Launcher to download. If the route is already installed, right click it and select download on the drop down window and dependencies will download. Can also do this via in game by clicking on the paperclip icon on the route/session thumbnail.
Looking for a Session/s, use the 'Search" in CM window. Make sure the box right of "Filter" has 'download station' selected. Same for a route. You can also add more filter lines by clicking on the small arrow (left of 'Filter') then the + sign (CM window right side) to narrow down your search.
If the Polar express is from a third party site, download the files which will be in cdp format. If they come downloaded in a zipped folder you will need an unzip utility to extract. Just drag the cdps into a Content Manager utility window and it will install automatically.
If missing dependencies are not on the download station, google is your friend. However if you are having trouble finding them, contact the third party site if you can and also ask at the Auran forums. https://forums.auran.com/forums/general-trainz.3/
If you have any issues you are more than welcome to ask here and especially the folk at the Auran forums, where there are many veteran trainzers.

True! But I was trying to point out that N3V Games really doesn't provide support for 3rd party content downloaded from the DLS or elsewhere. The best support to find is on the Trainz forums. That's why I said that, not to offend the user in any way!
