Is the DLC for 22 and 19 common

I want to buy 22, I'm not sure if the DLC on my 19 can be used on 22. Also, does the game main body come with or without Surveyor 2.0

Not associated with N3V, but I do have Trainz 2019 and 2022. So, here's how the dlc works.

Currently, there are FIVE dlc items that are only available for use with Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022. They are:

Model Trainz: New Haven Industrial
Amtrak Superliners
Datsun Junction Model Railroad (Created by Approach Medium and available on the Trainz Store and Steam Store)
British Model Railway
Midwestern Rails
Blue Comet 2.0 - The Seashore's Finest Train
BR HST - Intercity 125 & Midland Pullman

The dlcs listed above are the only purchasable content that are limited to Trainz 2022 and Trainz Plus.

There are several dlc items that ARE compatible with Trainz 2019 and Trainz 2022. If you want to know which items are compatible with both games, do the following:

1. Head to https://store.trainzportal.com/
2. Move your cursor over to "dlc" and a list will drop down.
3. Click on "All DLC" then wait for the page to load if need be. Here, you will see all available dlc items EXCEPT anything in Preview Pass. Items in Preview Pass undergo testing before they are released and are only available if you have a Trainz Plus Gold membership.
4. Click on a dlc item. If you want to check multiple dlc items, just right click and open each item in a new tab.
5. After clicking on an item, you will see screenshots and the listed price for the item if the item is available for purchase. If you don't see a price, the dlc item is still in preview pass and can only be accessed with a Trainz Plus Gold membership until the dlc item is ready for release.
6. Scroll down slightly until you see "In Game Downloadable Content (Requires Internet Connection)" Here, you will find the Trainz games the dlc is compatible with, provided you purchase trainz dlcs from the Trainz Portal, as Trainz dlcs from the Steam Store are not compatible with multiple trainz installments they would be if you bought them from the Trainz Portal. In other words, if you buy Trainz 2022 dlc from the Steam Store, it CANNOT be used with the Steam version of Trainz 2019 and/or Trainz: A New Era. It can only be used for the Steam version of Trainz 2022. You also CANNOT use any Trainz dlc brought from the Steam store, with Trainz titles (Trainz 2022, Trainz 2019, TANE, etc...) purchased from the Trainz Portal. In other words, if you purchase the steam version of Trainz 2019 dlc for the Steam version of Trainz 2019, you can ONLY use the dlc for the Steam version of Trainz 2019, not the Trainz Portal version of Trainz 2019.
7. Here, you will see what Trainz titles this dlc is compatible with. TRS22 is Trainz 2022, Trainz Plus is Trainz Plus, TRS19 is Trainz 2019, TANE is Trainz: A New Era, and TS12 is Trainz 12.
8. If you see TRS19 and TRS22, then if you purchase the dlc item from the Trainz Portal, you can use it for the Trainz 2022 and Trainz 2019.

IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE!
YOU CAN USE TRAINZ PORTAL PRODUCTS WITH THE STEAM VERSIONS OF TRAINZ. If you purchase a trainz dlc from the Trainz Portal, you are able to use that product for the Steam versions of Trainz so long as you have the trainz titles the product is compatible with. You just CAN'T use the steam versions of trainz dlcs with any trainz titles other than the trainz title that the steam version of the dlc is compatible with.

1. Yes. TRS19 DLC is updated to be compatible with TRS22.

2.Surveyor 2.0 is available only for "TRS22 Plus" and "Gold Class" members as It is in beta and bug fixing stage. Standard TRS22/Platinum do not have Surveyor 2.0.
