Trainz 19 SP4 has for all intents and purposes bricked my game

So, i installed the update the other day, and before SP4 i wasn't having any issues with running the game at all, other than the bane of a loco creator being the trainz database repairs whenever you actually get an engine in and the weird backfacing issue in the export that was relatively easy to overcome but again, these are nothing compared to what SP3 has done

the issue lies in the sense of i get into a route to add locos, i bring up the loco placer menu, and it crashes, sometimes i can't even get to that menu, sometimes i can't even get into the route, sometime i can't even get past the main menu, no error codes or logs anywhere to be found, it just straight up nopes out, and the only thing different is SP4, in all honesty i don't want to have to buy the none steam version just to install an SP3 build but unless auran/N3V can get an update out to fix this issue, which would be unbelievably handy as i like everything being on steam at my fingertips, i'm going to have to, but i can't be the only one experiencing this issue surely?

also before any bright sparks suggest it, i have indeed tried lowering all the graphics settings to minimum and it still bricks itself, bare in mind my usual test route isn't even a big route, its like maybe 2 boards at a push but more like 1 maybe 1 and a half, and has been invaluable to me, i can't even get into any routes that are bigger because by the time it loads it still crashes, during loading in most cases

That’s weird because for me it bricked my whole game and deleted EVERYTHING! Now I have to redownload everything again and it takes forever! SP4 bricked my game and deleted everything

Do you see the list in the Edit Trains tool appear? If so, do you see if the currently selected item is highlighted red, and what item it is?

Could you also please try manually running an extended database repair.

To do this, first click on 'developer' on the launcher screen, then hold down the CTRL key and left click on 'rebuild database'. Once the repair has completed, please restart Trainz and then see if this issue still occurs.

If you do still see this issue, then could you please submit a ticket to our helpdesk at http://support.trainzportal.com/ so that we can look into this further with you.

the list does come up briefly, nothing is red that i can see, the entire list doesn't come up with a solid "window" where it can be basically transparent, it came up solid once but it never gets to the loco preview load stage as before it does it seems to break on me

i shall give this a go, but i don't hold out high hopes, especially as with each boot up it gets less and less into the game, but hopefully this is all it needs

So yeah, glad id din't hold out hope, its still crashing for no apparent reason without error codes or logs or whatever
