also it's really good compared to most of the VNs i've seen. between this and angels with scaly wings i'd say furries are killing it in the VN scene
After about the third or fourth time of seeing a character get so fat they can't even function normally, it became grating for me. I have to consider it part of the tragic aspects of the storylines.
With that in mind, I still have a few more story branches and tranformations to hunt for. Its been a real treat of a game that allows for some great novelty while also managing to be thought provoking with endearing characters.
Well I'm not going to argue with you since everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I would like to say I found characters getting fat beautiful in my own weird way.
Yes I'm aware of the dangers Real Life obesity brings, but this is a game in a fantasy world where such dangers do not have to apply. If you can accept characters can change into dragons or sharks or swap genders, then why is getting fat a sticking point?
Again, I'm far from naive about the real world issues attached to such things, but this is all in fun. And I wholeheartedly support the creators making characters fat and having them come to accept they can be beautiful no matter what shape or form they take. Beauty truly is a personal preference, not some marketing ideal handed down from corporate businesses designed to sell makeup and tight clothes.
It is a sticking point because the game authors made the design decision to make it a sticking point. That is going to factor into the overall experience of playing the game.
Just as a reader I'm going to react to a well-liked character's untimely death, I'm going to react in some way to them being inflicted with eating disorders or weight gain to the point of being physically handicapped. Preferred beauty standards of body image does not apply.
