The Pirate's Fate

The Pirate's Fate

Is this just a fetish game in the end?
From what I read, everyone is obsessed with a fat character that I think her name is Morgana, I was going to buy this game, but is it really just fetish based?, I mean on growth and stuff like that?

There are a lot of different fetishes at play here, not just weight gain. There are story branches involving muscle, TG, and species change all the time. A lot of variety.

The visual novel is well written and put together in any case so if you have any kind of interest in transformation media it's work a look.

I like fat stuff, but playing it and seeing it in a game, it kind of makes me feel weird, like I shouldn't be playing it. . .It reminds me or major/minor and I really dislike that game when I gave it a try, I really hope I can find an answer and try this game someday :/ I don't know how to feel about it

No. The games take on using tranformation as a plot device predominantly changes its characters in a chubby way but in a variety of other ways. The story has more depth to it than just catering to simply that though where it gets outright grim and dark at times, even very touching and sincere, and the characters themselves have more depth to them than you might think.

But now with that said, yes it does cater to a weight gain most of all, that can also be looked upon as more of a body confidence message so to speak. The characters just dont shag and flirt all day everyday because theyre fat if thats where you mind is going. Regarding Morgana, i would unfortunately have to liken her to the "Krystal" of this game, if you get my meaning. She's the "hot grill" that people find cool, which they then find sexy.

People just like her for one reason or another, and i would have to tell you that i do find her to just be the strongest character of the main cast which is something that just warrants her popularity. Couple that with someones interest in chubby bodies and well... furries happen. It happens.

That is a perfectly fair question! The story centers around a set of coins that transform individuals into reflections of their ambitions, desires, and insecurities. To this extent, there's a lot of appearance based changes in the game and it was important to us to not shy away from trying figures and forms that are not typically seen in most games. However these transformations are used as moments for character growth (no pun intended!) and conflict exploration.

We worked hard to make sure that each moment in the story was meaningful and each event organic to the experience. I can't say if we have suceeded on that or not, but I am very happy that people in large seem to be enjoying the experience.

I should also say that we made the game to hover around the PG-13 mark, so there's no explicit nudity, etc. in the game.

I would encourage you to look over our reviews if you would like to hear other opinions. After all, I'm a bit of a biased source, hahah. People came to the game for a variety of reasons and from a variety of viewpoints, but I think their insight should be of help.

I hope that answers your question and if you do decide to try our game, that you enjoy it!

I'll keep looking for reviews, until I find my answer, I didn't think I was going to have a reply from a developer from this game, I hope I can convince myself to try it

Pretty much what the others said. Though the subject matter contains fetishy material, it isn't the focus. Mostly it helps drive the game's overall conflict and is rarely the centerpiece.

Yea I was afraid it might have ended bit fetish-like too but the people who made it did a good job not making it feel as much but also very fitting for the story.
