New Update Out + DLC announcment!

Dear fans,

we're happy to announce that today, we're releasing a new patch after a long time. And that's not the only news. In March, we plan to release a new DLC called New Power. It will add a mini-scenario about the North Korean nuclear threat and a whole new "Deep State" part.

Deep State refers to various subjects that can affect the political situation in countries worldwide. These include such organizations as big corporations, religious movements, mafia families, pacifits and other subjects. They all bring dozens of new events to the game.

The free update brings several important changes, and we believe one of them is something that will make a lot of you happy, since it's a feature requested for a long time: the ability to change the name of the country/bloc!

Full changelog:

'Outsourcing' project to exchange Money to Action Points.
Additional Transports for 'Advanced Arms imports' project tree.
Changing Bloc/Countries names.
Giving away provinces to countries having core on it.

This is actually one of the Easter-eggs in the game :). You see, when you click a plane or a ship on water, sometimes you get those funny quotes from movies or other forms of pop-culture.

Actually the quote comes from "The Poseidon Adventure" disaster movie, where on of the passenger says: "You see Mr. Scott? In the water I'm a very skinny lady" :). And yes, the name of this Easter is ""Between the lines".

We already released a hotfix for MAC. I reported back that it still causes some problems and the devs are looking over it as we speak.

Thank you Dan ! The hot fix worked but then you added another update that cause the same issues. Hope i can play again soon this great game.

Hello guys! I've been playing the demo version for a wee time, found very interesting stuff (as well as some improvements that I believe devs should consider - mostly the major concerns most players asked for on previous discussions).

My major concern to make a decision on buyin' the game was the lack of updates/dev's reply I've seen so far. After the current announcement of an update and DLC, I've been looking forward to buy the game, also because recently It seems that devs are replying (hope they keep it up) the community.

So my question is: Should I buy it now or wait for the DLC to launch? I know it is a silly question to ask in here but I feel more confortable to make this decision after reading more opinions, specially from those who are playing the full version for some time.

You are gonna need the game if you are gonna play the DLC so buying it and later getting the DLC would be my suggestion, its a great game.
