so is pvp going to be unavailable without connection, or will it disappear from the game totally? what about achievements related to pvp? what did the game server handle besides saves?

ah yes, just noticed the disappearance of the Multiplayer option in the menu
and it seems like those achievements are handled by means of "we dun care"

Its a shame. I only kept playing bc of pvp. Its probably only the 2nd game Ive ever bothered with pvp. ^^

I guess it was either this or no server/dead game.

Maybe if there were a way to subscribe to maintaining the pvp server.... $1/mth they could keep it going but most games that have an online server always seem to die, unless new games bring in more revenue.

Oh well. After 800hrs I will miss playing this game. :(

Thank you for such an absorbing game. Wish there was a sequel that could have supported this game as well. ^^

I bought the game on sale for PC after playing for free on Android. Now that the multiplayer is going/gone I regret not switching earlier.

Yes, we completely removed the PvP mode from the game, but at the moment we are not planning to remove the related achievements. As for your last question, basically all the game logic and systems were processed on the server.

Ah. Can you thank everyone on the team for one of the best 40k games free on Android? I spent many hours wracking my brains on the best card combos and squad make up.

I regret not playing the game on PC earlier so much.
