#1 Saga of the Great Awakening
Add the 4th and last chapter, increase the Hero Level to 17 and squad member to 10.
OPTIONAL
#2 Exceptional Card Pack
You have 3 very good unique Legendary card already at their max level
#3 Sentry Gun Pack
For the Devastate (only used in PVP)
If you like to use Sentry Gun in the campaign or in the 10 waves challenge.
Also add 5 new Legendaries
#4 Fall of Kanak
A new mode similar to the 10 waves challenges.
#5 Sigurd Ironside
Add a very weak new squad member and two short story missions that you can only play with Sigurd (has the only character you will control, no hero).
You can see all the cards added in the DLC if you check the screen capture in each DLC page
The second will be probably Sigurd, even though it's only 2 new missions or Kanak, which adds a new gamemode, however general opinion is it's a bit tedious. Even compared to Challenge mode, I like Challenge much more. I believe 100 skulls is just too much. If it was shorter, it would be better.
The rest are card packs for multiplayer. ECP for sniper rifle and gravgun, SGP for Devastate card, if you want to use it. Or anything else you can use in your deck, blowing us conservatives up with your innovative deck strategy.
The 10 waves challenges are a must for the Honor cards it will give you.
I would start with the base game + Exceptional Card Pack
And later add Saga of the Great Awakening when you have done all objectives of the first 3 chapter, and maybe 30 times the 10 waves challenge (I suggest no more once a day to not become bored).
yeah, i was considering mostly necron one, cuz it looks like it have most of relevant content so far.
the only additional objective i havent finished is the one where you must to deploy only one unit but probably i would be able to do it with different build that utilize bazookas and count on aoe damage.
i like actually the fact that the game focuses just on one faction as it gets more personal. i played many other wh40k rts games but you could play just anything like chaos, orcs or even elves, is just my first wh40k where you can only play as one chapter of imperium.
Carry out clumsy Karl is probably the hardest objective of the first three chapters, so no doubts you can finish the other one, after you finished this one.
And if you like it personal, better skip Fall of Kanak entirely, so the Chaos don't taint your clean game. ;)
When I started to play the Pc version (I started on the mobile version Eon ago).
I bought the base game and the Exceptional Card Pack DLC.
I was really please with all the cards it contain.
I found the ECP DLC dirt cheap. I still use the 3 unique L cards in it in almost every deck I make.
You could do without it, but those 3 L are just amazing an no grinding require !
I ranked the DLC in my personal preference. I only got Fall of Kanak for one card, the furious pistol.
I own all DLC, but if you're not going to play PVP you need only #1 and #2.
If your serious about PVP you get 1-3 and #4 if you want the furious pistol.
I see no good reason to get #5 Sigurd Ironside.
Sigurd are two more missions. Few more hours of fun. Still better than buying cards; it's almost like buying loot boxes. And if somebody is going o buy just some DLCs, it's definitely SotGA over ECP. SotGA is actually the only true expansion for the game.
I refer you to my first post of course Sotga is the DLC to have. But in the optional, ECP gave me the best $ to fun ratio and gave me the early boost I wanted.
I rate Sigurd last, because I did not enjoy the two missions and do not enjoy how Sigurd is build and will not use him in any part of the game.
I played a lot with him in the mobile version they are the same. I have the same feeling for Sigurd in the mobile version (I do not like him).
I like very much the idea of story mission. It could be done for all Squad members and some NPC.
If they make another DLC, I will prefer if it is a new chapter than a card DLC.
