First coal ship... (Yes yet again)

So... i know this question has been asked a lot but imabout to buy my first coal ship and i cant really decide which one to go with... With coal ship would you pick and why?
I know it depends on how you like your playstyle etc but what would YOU pick and why?

One of my first coal ships was the Kirov, because I didn't have a lot of coal and wanted a Russian cruiser for Naval Battles. Not a bad ship, but I might have wanted to save for another. I am very happy with my Pommern and quite happy with my Napoli though. And a friend of mine is using his Salem to great effect in grinding credits.

So my i figured my choice is between Neustrashimy or Marceau.. i like DD's... but i dont like DD's without smoke... SO thinking really hard about Marceau everyone says its a superb ship but it dosnt have smoke :/ Hard choice.

It certainly can be, but it's harder to play. Have you played the French DD line? That might tell you if you'd like it or not.

IMO neither of them is a good pick.
You should wait for the Forrest Sherman, it will be for coal aswell and will be better than either of these 2.
Neustra is decent but way overpriced. I don't really rate marceau that much, Kleber is better + it's free.

It's a good ship in its tier, I like it! And I haven't had a single bad battle in it yet.

I think if it wasn't for Cesare that would be THE optimal T5 BB. Currently it's the best obtainable imo.

It depends on what you like.

I got the Carnot with coal and enjoy it. I'm planning on getting the neutrashimy next.

I got Carnot first, pretty enjoyable but you have to be more aware because the armor will not handle battleship shells especially the rear. Got Napoli my second purchase and imo it's more fun in the secondary department with the crawling smoke slowly creeping up to someone into range or using it as a smoke bomb to run away. I would recommend Napoli as it is a little more forgiving to use and you can be a little loose with it.
