IMPORTANT

For the Steam version you shouldn't create an account through an invitation link. Follow these steps instead:

1. Log in to World of Warships on Steam at least once.
   
2. Click an invitation link. It should be from a player of the same region you've selected.
   
3. Select "Log in".
   
4. On the right-hand side select "Log in with your social profile: Steam."
   
5. Sign in to the Steam website.
   
   • If you accessed the invitation link via Steam's overlay browser, you will already be signed in.

Cruiser Diana Lima should appear in your Port after playing one battle. If she doesn't, please restart the game and repeat the aforementioned steps, being sure to check that you haven't mixed up your accounts. Be wary that after playing 15 battles you can no longer use an invitation link.

The system remains unchanged for Recruiters.

To use an invitation for World of Warships in Steam version:

1. Login once through Steam client to create your account (pick region carefully!)
   
2. You need to have played less than 15 battles || OR if you haven't played for 90+ days.
   
3. Be on the same game region(server) as the person who invites you. (Asia / EU / CIS(Ru) / NA)

Instruction for recruits:

1. Click an invite link (or do it in Steam overlay browser inside the game to ease step 4!)
   
2. Choose "Login"
   
3. Choose "Log in with your social profile: Steam"
   
4. Sign into Steam website
   
5. …
   
6. PROFIT!

All those links are NOT one-use, so choose any that's from your region. Or ask your friend for one, it doesn't matter if he plays on Steam or via native client.

After 15 battles you can make your own invitation link, just login to friends.worldofwarships.{asia/ru/eu/com} through Steam as described above and post it in this thread, on your Steam profile or social media & instant messengers.

Also a good idea to add that link to your review, since newcomers would likely look there before noticing this thread. Guide them to this instruction so they don't get confused.

When you visit that link later — you can see nicknames of players who had joined using your link. You may add them as friends in the game (red button in the lower left corner, then type a nickname then Add as friend).
