Brandenburg

Any views on German T8 BB Brandenburg? Sort of considering buying.

Good secondaries, lots of barrels (albeit of smaller calibre) offsets the German dispersion?
Tough armour but low HP?

What are the firing arcs like? FDG arcs drive me mad.

If you don't have any other German battleship and you are sure that you will never start that line, Brandenburg is a nice ship. At tier 8, Bismarck is already a very powerful ship, it costs you only 3000 doubloons to get the camo and the economic bonuses. If you like playing with torpedoes, then start the German battlecruiser line.

I have Brandenburg in my port but i seldom play with it. So it was a waste of money...

Considering my experience with the majority of my premium ships, i would recommend you no buying that ship.

I've ground the BB line up to Preussen. Never enjoyed it up to Bismarck to be honest as I was a rookie player and didn't understand them very well. I think they're a group of ships which aren't great in random matches but shine in brawls. Brandenburg for me stands out as she's got the extra barrels (albeit at a lower calibre) than the other ships which adds a lot of value, plus the torps. Of course the secondaries are a strong point on the ship too. Not sure.
