Should I move to BB Amagi or stay with Nagato?
Any tips?

Do you want to progress to Yamato or no? If yes, yes. If no, is Nagato fun? In my opinion Nagato is more fun than Amagi, although Amagi isn't bad. Nagato is kinda the high point of the line until you get to Yamato in my opinion.

I actually liked Amagi more than Nagato (currently grinding on Izumo). But that is partly due to me often getting some wonky RNG on Nagato and Amagi having more guns. It's mostly very subjective and personal preference between those two, I would say.

Yea I would agree. Part of it is the player base tends to be worse the lower you go for whatever reason, so lower tier ships end up being easier to play (for me at least).
Personally, I seem to recall having a fairly poor time with Nagato, her dispersion just felt terrible to me for some reason. If you have a long-term goal of grinding your way to Yamato you'll need to move on to Amagi and then Izumo anyways, but if you have the spare port slot there's nothing wrong with keeping Nagato around if you like her.

Whaddayaknow, I was completely wrong, all I had to do was go to the store page and click one button and now I can post in these subforums again... :sacrificed:

Thank you Jackson, Christof and TIC.
Yes, I want to progress to Yamato, I had fun with Nagato but I want to move to Yamato.

Then you need to move on to Amagi anyway. Unless you want to spend a large chunk of free xp.
It's a pretty decent ship. But watch out, your guns will often bait you into going broadside for full salvoes. But you don't really have the toughness to constantly be doing that without getting punished for it. But the ship is fairly quick, fairly accurate and has fairly good guns. You should be able to work it, I'm sure.

I didn't enjoy Nagato or Amagi when I was grinding to Yamato, and I didn't enjoy Izumo either at first. Then I learned to aim a bit better and now I love Izumo and Yamato and I went back to try Nagato again and ended up applying a permanent bonus pack to it!

Izumo and Yamato are definites for you if you enjoyed the accuracy of Nagato's guns as they're amongst the most accurate you'll get. Tough ships too (just watch out for fires and them pesky planes).

Late comment: I like Nagato, like Amagi better. Why? Tougher ship, better firepower. Izumo bugs me, as it only has forward-facing turrets. Yamato I haven't gotten yet, and I'm not anxious to get it as it has slow rate-of-fire and slow turret rotation. Not great for t10.

TBH Nagato was always really fun for me. It is a nice upgrade on guns from Fuso and has nice Japanese accuracy. Amagi is still okay, added 1 more turret from Nagato with the same shell size and has good accuracy. Personally I like Nagato more, but with Amagi I reached High Caliber or Confederate many times too. And then there's the weird one: Izumo. Honestly I was struggling and couldn't wait to reach enough xp to research yamato. Izumo still has the Japanese accuracy, but is really weird + it gets caught on fire sooo quickly. And then the Yamato. For me the best bb ever. The best accuracy, from 3 turrets 9 shells fired and really strikes when it needs to. A path to Yamato is worth because of the gift you receive with the t10 ship (accuracy, satisfaction, really long distance firing - 26km). You can also get to either 27 seconds reload or 22 with the right skills set on you commander.
