Enterprise worth it?

Firstly, thank you Wargaming for putting the premium CVs on shop, you made my weekend a lot better! Just bought my Kaga admiral pack.

Anyways, I'm thinking of getting the Enterprise as well, but I am not sure what kind of carrier she is. Can anyone tell is she worth to get and how does she play?

I'm certainly not an expert but enterprise feels like an American Kaga, lots of planes quick regenerate time not an enormous amount of damage.

By the way if you're going to buy a prem cv buy the crates, I did get 2 from 20 crates but a lot of people are getting 2,3 or even all 4 cv's buying 20 crates. So for the same price you have a high chance of getting a ship and then flags + camo + coal as a bonus.

Now I'm just curious about the crate drop rates...thinking about getting 20 crates then just buying what ever I don't get/if I don't get the two I want.

you get to drop 6 AP bombs at a time, so you can bully german bbs and cruisers, you can drop 3 torpedoes in a spread that is hard-ish to doge, the attack aircraft carry heavier rockets, but only 6, and attack in a different pattern, you can have 20-16-16 on your deck at a time, so 52 planes, and they have a 47-57-72s respawn time, so they are made pretty fast.

I bought Enterprise Admiral package and I'm safe to say I am content with her. She is the first USN carrier I have ever played (I main the japanese CVs), but her play style didn't come off as a shock.

Her rocket planes are extremely good, although the oval shaped target zone can sometimes be painful when the enemy suddenly moves. Torpedo bombers are real good, but they are slow, engine boost gets drained quickly. AP bombers seem to hit more often than those on tech tree Japanese ones, which is a pleasant thing. She regains planes really fast (although hangar size is not really large.) Her fighter consumable is also really useful, especially when dropping them over teammates being targeted by enemy CV.

So yeah she was worth the money. She is a cool carrier which is fun to play, and she is great addition to my warship collection.

being able to summon 10 fighters with a 5km patrol range vs the 5 fighters with a 3.5km patrol range of other equal tier tech tree cvs, not sure about prem ones, really helps, especially when no tech tree cv has more then 9 planes in a squad, so you can fully wipe out there squad.
