Is Atlanta worth getting?
Asking since she has DD guns as a cruiser.

Fun? Yes. Meme-tastic? Yes. Hard to play? Definitely Yes.

I've played it in Coop and had a blast, its fun as hell. I don't think I could play it in a PVP setting and be successful TBH.

It can still rain rainbows of shells onto a target which makes it worthwhile in itself, but its pretty fragile and only shines if you are comfortable with how to fire while being unspotted.

Trust me, if you mess up you will get deleted pretty quick in it.

Sorta to just reinforce what others have said: For some she's very fun, but she's not at all forgiving. If you are good with her, she's very rewarding. If you're not good with her, you'll get deleted fast. If you're a coop player, I think she'd be pretty fun there.

2 cents: Flint is Atlanta with 2 less (wing) guns, no radar, but regular smoke and long torps. For defensive operations it works well in my opinion.

Did they give her better range though? It was in a bad spot there for awhile IIRC.

Boise might make a better substitute. Only slightly more range but CL guns with hefty alpha-damage against DDs. Plus it can heal.

I love Helena, and wanted to get Boise to get a premium, but that ship has shorter range too and Helena is already kinda iffy on range.
