Sounds like a problem in your positioning, not the ship itself(but it's slow, yes), pay more attention to minimap, turn on last known enemies positions (hold Ctrl and click the cog icon near the minimap), follow your allies but keep an eye on their HP and how many enemies stand against you. Avoid places where destroyers might ambush you, and remember that your main target is cruisers, not battleships. It's not raw damage that affects your rewards for the battle but % of targets taken, so hitting cruisers for 2-3 citadel hits is worth more than battering some battleship for the duration of the battle.
So turn bow or stern towards the closest battleship (preferably there's only one around), slow down and start beating its escort. Without cruiser escort battleships become easy prey for allied destroyers or even cruisers.
Mind that some cruisers have torpedoes as well, don't get too close to them.

Since Wyoming has most turrets at the back - don't hesitate to turn around and retreat if your flank is getting overrun by enemies, you would be able to kite away and shoot while broadsiding less than when you're advancing. And even with that speed destroyers would have hard time hitting with torpedoes from behind.

Use AP against cruisers and broadsiding battleships and HE against destroyers and battleships which tank you by not presenting their side.

See some videos maybe. Overall i think Wyoming is easy to handle and comfortable ship.

What's the problem? Apart from the speed of course. With some many barrels it's hard not to hit anything, just pick the shell type right. If you have hard time aiming - try shooting one turret, seeing where shells land, making adjustments then shooting next turret and so on. This way you can even send 2 shells per 5 seconds :hee:

I just can't seem to do enough damage.. I get like 10k damage per game and if i play more aggresive i get focused by 5 ships with no allied support. I can hit shots pretty well(sometimes even citadels) its just i don't do enough damage :(

The dispersion of the shells doesn't give much hits at longer ranges,

Thank you.

I don't know to much around the game, but another thing you must think of is:
Your ship gets better with your commander too.
So with a basic wyoming it's def. not easy to be a terrifying killer.
I guess it's not the ship but you will get better results later
but from your last post it seems like you know alot already, so...

haha i wish i knew what i was doing wrong. Now it seems like this ''oh my team is playing passive, i'll play with them because i don't want to be gang banged and then by the end of the game i have 6k damage and or destroyed because we lost...''

2 games are never the same. I can get 6k dmg, but next time i get 60 or more so you are as good as the others. Exept a few players that try extra.
Not thinking about those complaining in chat
jim 17. juli 2018 kl. 5:26
i see what you tell there. I see the same with me so i take my chances and seperate a bit from the others. In a big group your dmg. is stolen of others.
Almost alone give 2 things. A early dead or a quite good results.
It's all about being lucky and do the right choices

Indeed good but it also shows the difference about those playing years.
He know what every ship is and where to hit.
I def. dont and i guess Who stole my nose dont either
So try different out and find the style that suits you man
This is as far as i know: Looking forwards to reach Com.lvl. 12 so i get
Manual fire control for Secundary Arnament. I believe that will improve my ship, making me more deadly

Manual secondaries are not worth it for ships below T7. Concealment Expert would be the best choice for a USN bb imo and will be useful all the way up the line. If you want, I could draw up some recommended skill builds for the USN line as I play a lot of BBs.

Tbh it looks like you skipped a bunch of the lower tier bbs and rushed up to T7. This leaves you without enough lower tier experience to succeed at T7. I would recommend playing more T4 battleships, try some different lines, and maybe some other ship types in order to give you a wider experience. Then come back to T7 and try again. Right now your survival is really low as well as your average damage. This suggests you are perhaps too aggressive or out of position and die before you can influence the match. If you have replays turned on, feel free to post one and I'd be happy to review it and give you pointers if you want.
