Trouble playing the ARP Takao.

Well I can say I'm NOT a fan of the ARP Takao, I have not survived not a single battle, and barely get any chance to contribute.

I usually die extremely early, or get 1-shot by a BB. I'm also losing a lot of credits per battle instead of gaining.

Is there a certain way to play the ship?

Not that I'm great with Atago or anything (only played her 6 rounds, and lost 4, evidently, still think I did alright in most of them), but basically, turn around before you're spotted if in open water. Launch forward torpedo racks during the turn if an enemy is approaching you and you have an open shot, fire HE at the enemy and speed away while being fired upon.

Building for concealment your torp range is actually slightly longer than your concealment range, so take advantage of that fact when you can.

Pretty much use your concealment to get into favorable positions and headings before engaging.
