Question on permanent camouflage

If I buy the permanent camouflage on the NC, does it become like a premium ship? Or does a premium ship still has more perks? Cuz I'm thinking if I'll buy the alabama or just buy a permanent camouflage for the NC.

No, it just gets the camo like one. You can just click on it in the "Camouflage" option and it will show you which bonuses it provides.
Premium ships also get the bonuses on an elite ship and allow for captain retraining.
You can make a regular ship elite by unlocking every upgrade it has, including the next ship in the tech tree. But a regular ship will never have the retraining option a premium ship has.
A premium ship, on the other hand, does not lead to any other ships in the tech tree, meaning that you'll likely be stagnating if you buy it.

It depends if you're likely to sell the NC to get credits for the Iowa. I kept mine and bought the permanent camo as I think it's one of, if not, the best T8 battleships.

I think the camo gives the same benefits as the Alabama whilst Alabama has slightly better rudder shift and a better torpedo belt.

So it's difficult to give a direct answer without knowing how you play.

If you want a premium NC get Alabama. it's almost the same, and this is arguable but I think it's slightly better.

She's a gudbote for sure. I love mine and plan to keep her also.

Premium camos pay off at T10, where they turn ships into virtual premiums. So if you get there and find a ship you really like: Get a premium camo for it.

Another advantage for the people who don't like how the MM works in WoWs - T10 ships always are top tier^^.
