Need help about the Fuso Battleship
Anyone got tips how to play this?
-.- I mean, do mostly use HE or AP Rounds?
Do I just play as a Sniper or go Brawl?

AP for the most part unless the enemy ship is angled enough to bounce your rounds, then use HE to burninate them. Don't show too much side and remember that her guns are like a giant shotgun so just keep firing until the enemy is dead. Mid range is fine with the Fuso.

Oh, AP. I got so used to HE ._.
Though not showing too much side is going to be a problem since I tend to always Maximize all Turrets usage :S
Thx for the Tips :)

Fuso is my favourite T-6 BB, so much so that her captain now has the full 19 skill points.

I never ever use HE, AP all the way. When you aim, it is worth waiting until an enemy shows its broadside, and aim for the centre waterline with all 10 guns. If it is a cruiser, you will delete them with one salvo, or another BB (in same tier or maybe one above), you will wipe off a quarter to half of their HP. But aiming properly (and knowing where to aim for best results) is a must.

In operations, I usually come out top of the leaderboard after the match when using Fuso, it's fantastic and I prefer it a lot more than Negato.

Hello,

I am currentely trying to fire one gun every 5 seconds reload is 28 seconds so it's two shells every 5 seconds.

I have a problem i have only 4 shells up to 6 i guess that won't miss on 12

I tryed the fuso maxed, with - dispersion item, in operation against the first artillery bunkers.

dispersion is very bad on battleships, i had the premium usa tiers Massachussets on trial, i loved the damage power of each shells, it's a bit more accurate than fuso i guess, but for now, i think i may give up battleships for cruisers and dd.

So far i dunno if i should fire shells every 5 seconds, or just all once.

Firing all guns at once, it miss as much ( normal it''s a battleship so need balancing from more gun power compared to cruisers) but if i'm under fire, i may do some damage before loosing your the ship.

Angling work on this ship, but since i may encounter tiers 8 guns, it doesn't protect as much as it did with kongo ?

Fuso is better than kongo overall, ishizuchi premium is the most accurate ship of the three.

In random battle pvp i find cruisers been a big threat, especially from long range torpedos, you can't see till it's too late.

The cruisers guns firing more shells at once, even if you try to do slight turns or escape manoeuver it's a bit more difficult to avoid the shells, especially the dispersion is less important than in bb for lower damage per shell.

Fuso is able to survive most battles, i think it's a good ship but the guns placed on the middle doesn't help.

x 4 triple barrels from new mexico look more interesting in the long run ?

I don't play world of warship, just went back few days ago, spent all flags and items to get big exp boost and get fuso maxed as fast as possible.

Wow maps been too small for long range encounters is a bit problematic, same for trying to escape, and you hit the map limit.

Wow map is too big when your team loose all scouting support, cvs dd... the time you try to spot enemy ships, it's too late the entire team target you.

I think i may switch to cruisers or dd with smoke next time, as if someone is smoking, i may fire torpedoscent, if radar is on, i may activate it.

With fuso one vs one against ships using smoke, even at 4 km range, it's difficult to spot the enemy ship.

I know for sure i shuld never put the fuso straight to cruisers or dd line of fire or torpedo range.

Still battleships for me is not my play style.

This is maybe why i have problems to play the fuso + been totally noob.

In one sense every ship type are balanced, but i regreat bb when i play cruiser's, cruisers aboard dd and so on.

I wondered about the necro on the thread (2yr old post) but actually seems fair considering it wasnt really answered in depth before and Adelin was asking some salient questions after using forum search tool.

Fuso is an extremely strong battlecruiser. You have a crazy amount of guns - i would recommend volleying on anything that is foolish enough to be side on to you. If you arent sure about how much to lead then stagger your shots (ie fire once and see where shots are going and adjust aim for volley or do same again).

Theres a lot of general advice that is needed to make it work well such as not sailing in straight lines (works for any ship), using your heals and dmg controls sensibly and not too early (works for any ship), and of course play with your team (works for any ship).

It is very good at kiting if needed (WASD maybe required) and can push lone targets including dds (if you know they have just torped, and you planned ahead and loaded HE) just because of the amount of raw firepower you can throw in one go.

Personally love it - is much fun ship and have had many glorious victories in it :)

Hey Banzai,

Fuso is working fine on it's own, I had only 80 hours of gameplay when i posted this message,

I played it a bit on random battles, it's pretty decent, i don't find fuso armor to be enough to close the gap against a new mexico but it's still able to do citadels hits x 2 or more every battles, contributing to team damage.

I don't find wsAd gameplay to be effective enough to avoid shells when i play Fuso, even against other Fusos.

It's pretty easy to lead shells against a Fuso, even using another Fuso ; )

Going against Cruisers at very close range is a big no, as it's almost imposible to turn fast enough to avoid torpedos, if rushing without tactic.

Against DD, it's pretty hard to detect them, you have big luck to loose 50% stamina from torpedos even at close range it just depend of battle outcome to rush or not i guess.

Anyway even knowing that i should play tactic in every games i play, inever do this, so loosing my Fuso before end of the battle while destroying only one battleships happen often.

I think when i answered to this topic, i was frustrated, been destroyed easily while angling, by encountering tiers 7 or 8 BB

Fuso is completely useless against tiers 8 bb, it may survive tiers 7.

AN angled Fuso is almost immune to ap shells against tiers 6, tiers 7 less, tiers 8 nop.

At the end, it's just a question of matchmaking, playing any ships.

At higher tiers battles, heavy cruisers or even cruisers, are really annoying to encounter, with fast shells volley, Fuso is able to fight hiding behind an island, but those cruisers, can touch the beach, they kill you, while you have difficulty to lob shells.

I dunno if Fuso has really an advantage with curent shell curve, but it's still playable.

Have a good game :)
