Tirpitz or Kii ?

What play style do you like in a BB? Long range fire or brawler?

-imrahil2 i knew someone will ask it. i have t7 Nelson and have good opinion on him, though hitting something with secondaries is a miracle. i know tirpitz have secondaries, kii have massive aa, tirpitz have 1 more torp than kii, have better armor plating but can be easily set on fire. i know it already, im asking because i wanted simple answers without asking what playstyle i like, so i can compare how many would get kii and how many tirpitz.

So, essentially you want to know the WoWs equivalent of asking if Barcafe brand coffee is better than Twinnings brand green tea?

Pick Kii, for Hirohito the Emperor! There are already enough Derpitzes but Kiis are rare.

P.S.: i don't sail any of them, but i enjoy IJN BB guns.

Kii is closer to the nelson gameplay though you shouldn't be spamming HE much. The Kii AP is pretty good. Also, you should't be in a position to use the Kii's torps as they have poor forward arcs and you should be at longer range. The Tirpitz on the other hand is about getting close to use secondaries and if the opportunity presents itself torps. She also has lovely turtleback armor which protects you from citadel hits at close range unlike the Kii. Though you still take a lot of damage from regular penetrations.

Yeah, if you choose for torps - then on Kii they probably would rarely be useful.

And Kii has some good AA , in my last game with Kaga I lost so many planes since he was the only target to hit left.
