WG's complete disrespect of its community

Its rare that I get annoyed enough to not care if things get censored, but screw it. This is a call to review bomb this game. Enough is enough, there have been more PR disasters in the past 2 weeks alone, than the last year.

The list includes:
- WoWs Discord Q&A which birthed the "miss-communication" meme
- Selling a tier 10 ship for $$$ despite telling us on numerous occasions it will never happen
- Blatant false advertising with containers, which was covered up as a "miss-communication"
- Screwing up the easiest PR victory possible with gambling and lies (Missouri)
- And most recently, the resignation of most larger Community Contributors

You extend that list out to the past few months and you get:
- Soviet fantasy CVs
- The Yukon behind the scenes
- Double CV Clan Battles, despite huge community objection
- Kong vs Godzilla fiasco

The point is, WG is not gonna care unless something big happens. A review bomb on steam might do that, I don't know. So sharpen your pitchforks guys, we've got a company to burn.

why Wargaming literally reward his efforts by putting his avatar into the game as a ship commander?

To make him feel a sense of accomplishment and/or an illusion of importance.
WG doesn't care about neither their players nor their CC's. Only money speaks in any of their games.

Several WoT content creators were turned into tank commanders of your choice with their respective voiceovers, which were earned by hard-grinding a Tier X 7v7 sort-of Ranked mode. Of them all, Quickybaby was the only one who denied WG's offer once he realised what the whole scheme was about.

Do those other CCs to which you refer have their avatars in the game?

Yes. Skill4ltu, Dakillzor (known as Daki), Orzanel and several others.
Still doesn't change the point.

Also, while I'm not going to accuse you of being a shill for Wargaming, is there some reason a review of your post history finds no other threads in this forum to which you have felt the need to post?

If it's any consolation, I have 6k posts on WoT EU forums, on threads and topics both bad and good.
People are easier drawn to bad news to voice and vent their heat. Simple mass mentality concept.

I feel the need to address this. In what way do lootboxes for World War 2-era naval vessels "target minors"? Fortnite is the game that targeted minors with predatory business practices. Its interesting how much animosity this thread has caused. Would be nice if we could avoid the passive-aggressive unpleasantness.

From a personal point of view this whole recent situation has lead to a lot of random hate directed at completely the wrong people. Even I (a very small part of the CC community) have been sent insults over all this. Other CCs and STs that I know on EU have had far worse.

i get why people are p'd off but please dont use this as an excuse to attack people who are a distance from the perceived problems.

I don't get why people take it so personally. I, myself don't like the financial
model WG has chosen but, i respect it is there choice. I choose not to buy
containers and Prem ships. I am grateful however that WG chooses to give
away, for playing rewards like flags, coal, camo's etc that make life/gameplay
more fun for budget players like myself. They don't have to do that, i get
free stuff all the time, just for playing.
Seriously, posting in forums, especially steam won't change a thing.
Being rude will change even less.
The ONLY way we, the community will gain any REAL attention from
WG is by closing our wallets, TOGETHER.. AT THE SAME TIME...
And THAT ain't going to happen.

In the first sentence you assert that WG rewarded Jingles in order to stroke his ego, i.e. to make him feel better.

In the second sentence you assert that WG doesn't care about their CCs, of which Jingles was one.

So WG rewarded Jingles to make him feel better AND they don't care how he feels?
