Pan Asia steam chan still have male voice

Nope, just tried it, definitely not a male voice voice.
You might have your setting set so it's turned off.

something weird.....just have a round in Pan Asian and US steam each, only Pan Asian steam chan sounded male

Well I don't know. I turned my voice over to Steam-chan (Pan Asia) and played a few rounds, in fact I just quit.

She was female and speaking in Asian the whole time (I'm not sure which language, I assume Chinese but there are a few countries in the Pan-Asian umbrella)

Did you change it to her voice-over specifically? Or ran a general setting and still heard her?

Alright so it's not the voice that's broken
It's using the captain?
Because the voice over mod (In the setting) works fine
Using the specific commander does become English.

Asked El_Fruchtini on the Discord and after some thought he asked me to change the voice-over setting to Standard. That actually made PanAsia Steam-chan work as it should.

Apparently that is a known bug which has existed for some time now.

Yeah. I may take the time to switch when going to battle with her (I mean, it's a grand total of six clicks to do so, the horror, the horror), if I remember. But it won't become my standard (haha) setting just because of one captain.
