Yea, WoWS separated from Russia. They do no business there at all. If you want to play WoWs from that region, the Lesta studio took over. The games separated so it'll be a bit different there due to the games going in separate directions but it'll be pretty similar. 7 yrs or so of the base game was the same. Their server is what used to be the CIS server.

It's easy to play WOWs from Russia, just a matter of changing 2 text files in the game's folder. But yeah, a bit sad to see my old account being practically non-existent anymore for the actual WOWs game.
Im still baffled by this decision from devs, especially given that Lesta is still technically under WG, and Lesta profits still do go to WG. Whole thing is just a bad joke.

Lesta is no longer a part of WG. They're entirely different entities as WG wants nothing to do with Russia. They expected a sizable loss of income over it, but like pretty much every other business, they wanted no association with Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. WG even fired the Creative Director after he made comments in support of Russia.

It has to be said as well that the games are becoming increasingly different. We are already at a point where not just some content, but part of the game mechanics are quite different. And where mods for one game won't usually work for the other any longer without adjustments.

I can see what you mean, my Property details say Language - Russia which is wrong. I couldn't speak or play in Russian if put me in a Bath Tub of slimy smelly dead Frogs so no idea what the hell Steam have done here with this update and my data.

Steam won't help at all. You'll need to contact Wargaming's customer service. Why can't you contact them? And if the normal way doesn't work, you can find them on Discord.

Steam won't be able to help. They have no access to anything meaningful at the game or account level. You don't have to have the Discord client. You should be able to access it via the web.

You didn't link your Steam account to a WG account, as asked for on the dropdown menu you open by clicking on your playername when in port?

I've just ran the Checks again and it found a bunch of 3rd Party Files it didn't like and removed them. I haven't modded it so no idea what that is about.

The Python Log says 'Critical - No Fullscreen display modes were detected' Checking my NVIDIA Card again now.

Going back to an older NVIDIA Driver to see if that works.

Problem Solved - NVIDIA update 565.90 puts a pseudo Monitor Setting up that's slightly under 1080p and WoW doesn't like it. Rolled back to 565.70 and everything works fine now phew. Thanks for all the suggestions folks appreciated.
