Logging in wants me to choose a user name i been playing for years.

I have a lot of time in the game but it wants me to choose a region and user name. How do I fix this an get my account back

If you've been playing recently and it now does that, Steam somehow got turned around and forgot you already have an account. Check the currentrealm file in your WorldofWarships game data and adjust the server region within to the correct one then, that should fix it.

If you haven't played for long and were on the CIS server last time you played, that one no longer exists. All accounts on it were given a few months to migrate to EU. Those who didn't were split off together with the servers when WG and Lesta parted ways. Lesta is now running those as their own game Mir Korabli with increasing differences in gameplay to WoWs. In that case and if you haven't migrated, your account should be there. But you'll have to download and use their game launcher to play, you can't do it with the Steam launcher.
