A critical error has been occurred (*_*)
Good days everyone.

I am sure lots of people heard or seen this error before.

I am playing casually and all of a sudden game freezes and that error appears.

There is no explanation in the error.

My system is quite enough for the game. 16 GB Ram / 6GB GTX1060 and Ryzen 1600 processor.

Did anyone manage to actually solve this problem? Its really annoying. Not every game but on 1 game in 2-3 games it crashes.

I'm having same issues with an i9-9900K, maximus hero wifi 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, EVGA 2080Ti and 2 m.2 1TB drives. After blowing 10K on this system, I still get their buggy glitchy nonsense and then penalized for leaving the game early. It's ridiculous ain't it?!!

Hello everyone, I also have the problem, I have a windows10 per PC, 16 GB, 1 TB hard drive, 4 core graphics R7, 12 core processor, as soon as I get my ship at the start, the error message comes from the PC, critical error .. ., and only here at steam.

not impressed, I've had to reinstall Windows so many times I feel like I'm living back in the 90s again. This is absolutely ridiculous and I suspect it's Windows but the overwhelming majority of the crashes happen ONLY in World of Warships

Like the rest of you I also have the problem on Steam, BUT NOT ON Wargaming.net. I have to participate in 40 battles without leaving a battle early (system freeze) on Steam, but I'm clean on Wargaming.net. They say it's the same game with a different access method, but that hasn't been my experience. I freeze on Wargaming, but not anywhere near as often. The game seems to have technical issues, especially on Steam.

UPDATE: Hope this helps anyone who is having some of these issues. Found out that the more expensive and faster 3200Mhz RAM I bought is more than Intel is allowing for a i9-9900K. By dialing back the speed of my RAM to 2666Mhz to match the CPU's stated preference, the crashing seems to have stopped. Seems like a real ♥♥♥♥ move on their part but that's what we've let them become. Dictators. If they had mentioned this, I would have bought the cheaper RAM. Thanks ♥♥♥♥♥ at intel. Good luck everyone. Look up your CPU's details online and see if it helps you.

I bought a TOTL gaming computer and all my woes went away. To be fair, my old rig had been huffing and puffing for a while.

Yah astatguy, I went that route too, just that Intel is now blocking faster RAM speeds for some stupid reason. What's the point in the faster RAM if they're going to be rude about using it? I haven't been able to crash the game since I dialed in the RAM to 2666 speed listed for the max RAM speed for a i9-9900K on Intel's site. Funny how we didn't get dictated to like this before unless it was a mac. Intel is showing fear, just like a threatened animal does. Good luck with that.
