Critical Error

3 times I get this message so # 1 I try to restart --- 2nd time I terminate and try to start -- I return to same screen. # 3 I terminate and write this message. Earlier the game froze and a message was sent that I was being penalized for inactivity ( no ♥♥♥♥ ) and when I return to BASE I get the BLACK SCREEN of DEATH. Please fix YOUR Game and stop sending messages like it's my fault.

The game is working fine. Try verifying the files through Steam. Make sure that your graphics card has the latest driver. If you have done those, or they don't fix the problem, contact support. They'll get the game's log from you and help you fix whatever is causing the problem. There's instructions on how to contact them stickied to the top of the forum.

That sounds as if something broke on your side of things (actually it's nearly guaranteed to be the case). Error messages that say "critical error" are usually local problems. So nothing that WG can do about it directly. But if what Jackson proposed doesn't work to fix it, you may want to contact support.

That was the 3rd option and it was in a language unknown to me so not able to report the problem.

Jackson -- after reading your comments I rebooted Modem/ computer/ verified files. 1st battle -- Hotspot Random start time 23/03 17:49 -- when the game loaded my view was underwater and could only have the ship move forward until it was sunk. 2nd battle was Hotspot Random 23/03 18:15 all was working ok until 17:01 then screen froze and all I could do is go forward until I was sunk. Exited game and turned of the updated MOD STATION. Restarted game and all was good for 1 battle in CO_OP. 2nd battle in CO_OP got another CRITICAL ERROR. Exit the game and see that WOW has downloaded an update at 6:12 PAC Time. This computer is 4 months old with a good video card and windows 11. I don't think the problem is on my end so will play something else and check back tomorrow to see if the game works.

Game hangs and I get critical error window when loading random operations. Same problem encountered using laptop and I am being penalized for a problem with the game. This is the only game that hangs on my PC and laptop. You cant just penalize a player if the problem is with the game itself. I can send a pic of critical error if u want proof. Please fix and don't let us waste time on coop battles. How can I contact technical support for them to address the problem?

Since the overwhelming majority of people is playing without any issues, it's not "the game" per se. Might be that someone broke with your version of it, of course. But that is not something that WG can fix. At best they might be able to find out what the problem is and tell you how to fix it, but it will be you that has to do it still.
Now if you have already validated your local game files and not solved the problem with that, there is a thread stickied to the top here explaining how to contact support.
