Come on, WG. Can't you just have a little support for the Linux fan base? Two updates ago Linux + Proton 5-13 was working just enough to make it playable. Forget about using the in-game chat unless you don't mind the game crashing/freezing. And then after 12.6 the game wouldn't even launch.

Google... Google some more, learn about Proton Tricks. Google some more and learn about ProtonUp Qt. I installed Proton GE 8-4 and now I'm able to play again. Even the chat works correctly. Thankfully, I don't have to boot to Windows today just to play.

I would guess there's not enough players to warrant support.

They stopped supporting Mac some while ago because of that and some changes with their OS that would require a fair bit of work.

That would work as long as you find WT fun. I've given it 3 or 4 tries over the years. After the last try, I have no wish to try again. It just won't cut it for me.

~2% it is not nothing as you can see and these are only the activ users.
Game developers should consider, if you can get only 1% of us Linux users, they have 25K more customers.
