Logging in and wrong account

I played the game yesterday but I cannot log in to the game today, when I logged in it requires me to enter a new nickname which is totally creating a new account. I don't know what is going on for my own account. Can anyone help me?

Hello,it says WOW EU but account name is wrong,should be wit6666man,not wit6666man_1,which puts me back at the start,currentrealm says eu and i deleted the cloud file to no avail,i can still play `wit6666man`through WG but i prefer steam,thanks

Ah, likely it means that you got wit6666man somehow unlinked from Steam.

Now you need to unlink wit6666man_1 too: go to website, log in, link any email, click unlink.
And then use #4.2 to fix wit6666man through WoT Blitz: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1416922188

Ok,i unlinked my other emails but in Wot blitz garage it says `wit666man account in steam has already been linked to another wargaming.net ID.

Also something seems wrong,
wit666man on EU is an account with no battles in WoWS: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/community/accounts/566384801-wit666man/!/pvp/
And there is NO wit666man_1 either! Only wit666man_2021 which is empty as well.

And i can't find wit666man account with battles in WoWS on Asia, CIS and NA either. Are you sure that's your in-game nickname?

My steam account is wit666man and my wows nickname is wit6666man on EU,i am playing it now through WG,i have only been back playing a few weeks,i honestly have not got a clue what i have done,you can see from my steam account i don`t mind spending but if we don`t get it working through steam,i will have to buy through WG,which i would rather not do :)

Sorry,it happens in the settings on Wot blitz,where i try and turn steam on.

That's weird, i'm sure that stats on website are updated at least daily O_o So there should be data.

Okay, let's get back to that on Tuesday when i have access to internal tools.

Well, prices are the same on WG and Steam, so in my opinion it only matters if you have some Steam Wallet funds :)

Sent PM with what to do now, but basically you need to use #4-2 from here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1416922188 AFTER making sure no other accounts are linked to that SteamID.

Hi. I am not very familiar with all these details. I put my Steam offline. I ran wow and it was like I never played before. So I put Steam back online. Same. Restarted my gaming computer, restarted Steam, ran wow, it remembers my nickname MikeMetal but all my ships and experience are gone. I tried to contact support but cannot get on my wargaming account. This is very complicated for me. I am not a super gaming kid. You got a bit of my money, if you want more please give me back my ships. I am stuck in a loop trying to fix this. Now all I get is the 3 basic cruisers and looks like I do not have a premium account at all. It asked me to sign up but it does not work. Make it easy for older people . Or loose income. Please

It's on EU server. If you log to the different server you'll see a new empty account, and it seems you have done so on Asia and NA servers.

Please edit the file currentlrealm.txt in the game's folder to contain "eu". And please don't mix up servers in the future, that is important because accounts are separate.
