Update downloading problem

after i finished 21.8 GB update download, the game start to download again, i went to Steam\SteamApps\downloading folder, i found a folder with 63.8 GB size !
any ideas how to recover my update i don't want to downloading it again my internet speed at my country is really bad.

This seems to be an ongoing problem with Steam's updater. The only solution I can give you is that if you use the Wargaming client, all of the updates are smaller and install faster. For instance this latest update was over 20 GB on Steam but only 3.5 on the WG launcher. It does require a complete download of the game to use, however you won't lose any of your account related items.

Did you pause your update? Let it run steam update is little dumb
It seems that it cant save partial files if you pause or turn your PC off

@Uncle64 i did pause it at 16 GB and then resume it until the end .

Have got similar issues whit other game as you have had.
Do clean out Steam download cache in regular basis.
