Unlink game from steam account.
Hello, so I signed up for this game a while back while I was testing it, then uninstalled it, untill recently when I came back to it, and played my way up to tier IV.

All the progress I was making was on the NA server, untill I realised EU had lower latency and a higher player count than NA, so I asked how to transfer progress between servers but I was informed it was impossible, so I wanted to get a fresh start on EU.

Now the problem is, when I tried to login to EU I found that my old account was stil there and linked to steam, so I'm asking, if there is a way to unlink the game account from steam, or delete it altogether.

Yes I understand that a possible solution would be to create a new WG account, but I'm trying to avoid that :p

Also I found out that I could "permenantly remove the game" from my steam account, will doing that, then reinstalling it, remove the accounts that are linked to steam?

Help will be appreciated, and any reply will be better than no reply at all ;p

Ah, in such case it's almost the same:
login to https://wargaming.net/personal/
link it to any email you won't need
then you can Unlink from Steam (after that you can set it for deletion).
then on next launch new account would be created

WoWs is not very ping-dependent, if you get <=150 ms — it should be good. True about population, but there are no problems in finding a battle anyway.

Yeah, just login to https://wargaming.net/personal/, click Unlink there and on that page you can also set account for deletion. Make sure it's an account you don't need, check region and nickname before doing anything.
If you don't remember the password — you may need to recover it.

Also note that you won't be able to use that email until account gets deleted. You may ask Support to unlink it from email though.

Nope.

If you didn't get Diana (Lima) after that — something went wrong.

Now, I already created such an account and I need to remove it, so next time I delete prefrences.xml and choose the EU server, I'm asked to choose another IGN and start fresh.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, and thanks for the early reply ;p
