8 Gbs surely should be enough to play. If you don't leave to many applications running in background.

Or i don't understand your question.

no i mean when i download the game it takes a lot of my Ram aka it uses a lot of it and drops at 5.93 and my pc is new and i only have chrome and steam on my hard drive so nothing is running in the background
I don't get what you mean. The game can't take up RAM until you run it.
On my last PC, I had 6GB or RAM and the game ran pretty well.
But, as stated above, the downloading process itself has nothing to do with running the game.

Are you saying, when you're not running the game, you have 8 GB of RAM free, and when you run the game, you drop down to 5.93 GB of RAM?

If that is the case, everything is normal. The game will utilize probably about 2 GB of ram while running.

If you are mistaking RAM for Hard Drive Space... Well, I can't imagine ANY modern PC being sold with only an 8 GB Hard Disk Drive. It takes half that space just to store a gutted modern OS, let alone modern Windows.

I think you should be okay.

Go into Task Manager and look to see what is taking up your RAM, it could be Steam, it could be several other things. If you're not in game, it can't be World of Warships. It will only start using RAM once the game starts loading.

Where are you getting this figure of 5.93gb RAM from? Is it what is being used at the time? Under Processes what is using it in Task Manager? For instance if I go into Task Manager now, I'm using 65% memory, over quite a few different processes.

Or are you saying your PC only shows you have 5.93gb of RAM in total? Have you any screenshots you can show us?

Everything you have running uses some RAM. If your system has 8GB, running just a browser and the OS would leave you with >6 GB free. That's still plenty to run Warships. You will never see 8 GB of ram free as the system always uses some of it. If you see a game that recommends or requires 8 GB of ram, that includes running Windows as well.

That's impossible.
Post screenshots please.
Also if you have integrated videocard - they usually use part of system RAM as videom memory. Are you on laptop?
send me screenshots of task manager, etc when i get back to my PC after trip
