Cant complete registration?
So i started playing the game today and i got the icon to complete registration but everytime i try to do anything i says that either my password is too weak or that my email is already taken (i tried using all of my 3 emails and none of them worked) Is it a problem on steam that you cannot complete the registration or is it something to do with my emails??? help plz :sider::weed::sider:

No it doesn't. I mean Steam WoWs account initially does not have any email linked. Your Steam account email DOES NOT matter, games CAN'T know it. So you need to link one first here: https://wargaming.net/personal

The first thing I've noticed is that when I choose to log in at WG site with my steam account, it redirects me to Wargaming's site but it doesn't show up that I'm logged (the links to "log in" or "create an account" still show) although I'm effectively logged in.
That's because you don't have a linked email, it's required to access the webshop, because the receipt must be sent on purchase.

So when I click the link to try to complete the registration, it takes me to the account management and a form to fill my name and other informations appear, but it quickly disappear and leaves me with just a page saying "account management" refreshing itself indefinitely.
That's weird, it should work fine. You can alternatively do it from inside the game using "Complete registration" menu button. But remember that you need to use an email address that is not yet used for another account.

Maybe your case is somehow more difficult, contact Player Support or me in PM if you can't access it.


The problem was solved. I tried to complete the registration using the in-game menu and it worked. After that I had no issues with the website anymore.

Just another question... is WG ever going to let us link both non and steam accounts?

Don't worry, there's no hurry in doing it. Or you can instead do it on website: https://wargaming.net/personal/
Click black Steam button to login. You can click that link on overlay browser, then you're automatically logged into Steam.

Really? Have steam account and logged via steam on wg site, yet ingame still have "complete the registration"? n1
Guess what it gaves if i type my mail and pass? That's right - registration error.

Apologies, currently that new feature does not always work correctly and may not detect you've already completed registration.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Please post in this thread following info in a following format:
  1. Your server: Asia, CIS(RU), EU, NA (just in case if you have created several accounts through Steam)
  2. Error message
  3. (optional) Screenshot with error. Preferably posted on Steam(don't forget to set it to public), but any service will do, as long as the image remains public for a reasonable time - imgur and Google Drive for example.
  4. (desirable) Do you have an email-address associated with that account on https://wargaming.net/personal/ ?
  5. Your SteamID (add "?xml=1" to your profile link like so https://steamcommunity.com/id/ryuu_senpai?xml=1 and copy steamID64). Or just link to your account. Or leave blank, i can extract it myself.

No need for game nickname, we can look it up through SteamID & region. So that's only for accounts created through Steam(!).
Can't promise any fixes for WG-accounts: 1) they 100% have email already 2) that method is not supported officially

I have an account for Steam, that i use to play WoWs, and an account in WG. Same E-mail different passwords. If I try to register in game with WG account server gave me first answer "Registration Error.Try later". If I try to register with steam account , with same e-mail, server answer is " You have entered an invalid character" 'cause Wg pw has limitations for password characters. Never happened until last patch.

Still the same problem. Can't complete the registration. I have the same mail also on https://eu.wargaming.net/personal/ associated with game since last year. May I have to change the steam password to use it with WG limitations characters?

hi Ryuu,
I have an ccount on Wg , created after steam account. E-mail is the same for both but passwords are different. When I try to complete registration, in game, with Wg password server answer to "try later", when i try with Steam password server tell me that there is an error due to not allowed characters . On https://eu.wargaming.net/personal/ connected with Steam since 12/2017. With the same e-mail, of course.
